Blanca González Galán studied Art History at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Université Sorbonne-Paris IV and Harvard University and holds an MA in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture. In her research, she is concerned with questions of identity construction and belonging, transnational exchanges and movements - through contemporary artistic creation and exhibition practices.

Before moving to Berlin, she worked as cultural manager in Beijing with a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, being involved in projects with the Today Art Museum, Photo Beijing, 凹凸AOTU studio, Beijing Film Academy, National Center for the Performing Arts, and Cervantes Institute among others.
